Braided Corn – Watts

Description: Prepare for the coming of Fall! Make colorful braided ears of corn to hang as a door decoration, or to place in a decorative centerpiece bowl.
RO or LO? Class open to both Left Opening and Right Opening braiders.
Level: Anyone.
Prerequisites: Basic braiding skills: Make a T Start, braid with folded edges.
Maximum number of students: 15
Minimum number of students: 5
Special equipment or kit fee? No.
Teacher Bio: Peggyann Watts has been a registered nurse for 34 years, and a braider and hooker of rugs for 30+ years. She is the owner of “Belfast Braids” in Belfast, New York. She demonstrates and teaches rug braiding at New York county fairs, teaches beginner classes for braiders twice a year, and holds monthly “braid days.”
