Braided Acorn Part 1 of 2 – Rowan
May 5 @ 3:00 pm - 4:50 pm- $30.00
Class Title: Braided Acorns from 8-Loop, 9-Loop, and 12-Loop Circles
Instructor: Pam Rowan
Make cute braided acorns for fall decorations. In the process, you will learn (or review, for some) the techniques of making 8-loop, 9-loop, and 12-loop circles, which can serve as the centers for many pretty braided shapes such as squares, hexagons, and octagons. We will learn how to butt each of these circles in the class, using a different butting technique for each. You can also make a small braided turtle if you wish. We will learn how each shape’s design can enhance the beauty of different braided projects.
RO or LO? Class open to both Left Opening and Right Opening braiders.
Prerequisites: Basic braiding skills
Special equipment or kit fee? Pam will offer a kit if needed; she will contact you with a list of needed supplies.
